It's no water off my back. Won't you cut this duck some slack?
I said, "Mom, I'll be home soon."

Watchin' how the sun's a risin'.  Thinking 'bout a song I'm writin'. 
Soon I'll played my gal a tune. At the first light of the moon
I'll say, "Mom, I'll be home soon."

Momma don't you know that some duckies gotta go where a duckie's gotta go 
     and when they get there.
